016FM Season 1 episode 10 recap: Whose cash is it anyway?
This week on 016FM, things take a dark turn as Tsietsi stumbles upon a stash of cash in Queen’s desk, setting off a chain of events that could unravel the entire station. Whiskey grows increasingly worried about TK’s disappearance, while Keith’s worst fears come true. Here’s the recap:
A suspicious discovery

Tsietsi stumbles upon a suspicious pile of cash hidden in Queen’s desk. He tries to call Karabo for backup, but she’s still stinging from being friend-zoned and doesn’t pick up. Alone in the studio, Tsietsi hides when he hears someone enter. It’s Keith, clutching Gucci, and paranoid about being followed by his mysterious stalker.
Tsietsi’s investigation begins

Rattled by what he’s found, Tsietsi starts digging into what’s really going on at 016FM. He tails Pius from the club to a scrapyard, where he spots a suspicious number of trucks coming and going. Tsietsi secretly films the activity, convinced that something shady is happening. But what could it mean for the station?
An unlikely ally

Despite their rocky relationship, Tsietsi turns to his father for help. He asks the Prof to reach out to his old police contacts and investigate Pius’s possible criminal ties to the station. The Prof agrees but warns Tsietsi - this is dangerous territory, and he needs to tread carefully.
Keith is kidnapped

Keith’s paranoia proves to be well-founded when he’s snatched by unknown men and thrown into a van. His worst fears have come true - he’s in serious danger. Meanwhile, Latoya gets a message from Keith asking her to cover his shift, but she’s irritated, unaware that Keith is in real trouble. The station remains clueless about what’s really going on.
Whiskey’s growing worries

Latoya drops by Whiskey’s place for a late-night rendezvous, but the mood quickly shifts when Whiskey confesses his concerns about TK. He’s alarmed to find out that TK hasn’t come home and, after making some calls, discovers that TK hasn’t been going to school either. Whiskey’s worry escalates as he realises how deep his brother might be in.
The Prof’s warning
The Prof goes to the police but finds them cagey about Pius, suspecting they’re already investigating him. Turning to his friends in intelligence, he hands Tsietsi some dockets but warns him - taking down Pius is no easy task, and everyone who’s tried before has vanished without a trace.
Tensions boil over

The tension between Whiskey and Tsietsi hits a boiling point when Whiskey convinces Karabo to join his team for the Kwaal. The rivalry between the two DJs has never been more intense, but even so, Tsietsi warns Whiskey about Pius.
Things are heating up at 016FM. Can Tsietsi uncover Pius’s criminal dealings? Has he made a mistake trusting Whiskey with his intel? Where is Keith, and who’s behind his kidnapping? And whose cash is it anyway? Tune in next week to find out. New episodes of 016FM land every Wednesday, only on Showmax. Don’t touch that dial!
